Dr. Deboard is the best! Gary and I are so blessed to have been able to keep him as our primary DR. when he joined MDVIP! We initially thought maybe the expense would not benefit us as we are young comparatively to most of his patients...but we both agree now, that the level of care that we receive is worth every dollar! Thank you Dr.Deboard for all the time and personalized care you give!

Dr. DeBoard is an excellent physician. He is caring, knowledgeable, patient and very professional.He spends a great deal of time listening to your concerns and makes you feel special. He is a very special man!

Both my son and I are patients of Dr. DeBoard. He is an excellent clinician.Not only is he knowledgeable about the practice of medicine but also is compassionate and caring. His wealth of experience as an MD has gotten me and my son through many health situations

Last year I required surgery for cancer, and despite being in the healthcare profession, I had many questions & concerns. I ended up calling Dr. DeBoard outside of his office hours for advice. He was gracious & understanding. He went through my options & discussed the pros & cons with me. I’m sure I made the right decision for me with his input. I am very appreciative of his caring, compassionate approach to medicine. He’s truly one-of-a-kind!!

Dr DeBoard is one of the best physicians in the State of Hawaii. I have worked in medical education for 40 years and feel I am very qualified to assess MDs in all of their practice domains. I consider myself VERY fortunate to have him as my doctor.

I look forward to my visits with Dr. DeBoard. He always takes the time to assess my medical situation from a holistic point of view, while taking my priorities into consideration. Dr. DeBoard is accessible and his office staff are very helpful in scheduling my appointments. When I do have medical issues, Dr. DeBoard either addresses them himself or refers me to the appropriate specialists and/or testing. On several occasions, Dr. DeBoard has researched the latest approaches to addressing my medical concerns, and has contacted me personally with the information that he has found. On rare occasions when I need after hours support, Dr. DeBoard has been easily assessible. I really appreciate the effort that Dr. DeBoard has made to help me maintain my health. Because of his personal approach, I have a high level of confidence that we are doing everything possible to keep me as healthy as possible for as long as possible. It would be very hard for me to switch to another primary care physician, who may have a more "boiler-plate" approach to my care. I always leave my visits with Dr. DeBoard feeling that things aren't as bad as I perceive them to be and that the opportunities to find solutions are not as limited as I may have been led to believe Thank you for all of your help Dr. DeBoard.

There are not enough words that can describe the excellent care Dr. DeBoard provides to me and my family. His knowledge of all aspects of medicine is outstanding and his empathy, patience, good humor and steadfastness are exemplary.
